What’s happening at EduTech Sydney?
This year, we’re teaming up with the awesome folks at EdTechTeam and you’ll find us on booths 433 and 435. We always pull a crowd with our back-to-back series of exciting EdTech-focused presentations which kick off every 30 minutes in our Teaching Theatre. This year we’ll be focusing on presentations around five key themes:

- Using Data to Inform your Edtech Strategy
- Making Maths Digital and Accessible
- Successfully Managing Change

Greg has been actively involved in supporting learners across all levels of education for over 30 years. During this time he has worked as a classroom teacher, school executive, consultant, regional manager with the New South Wales Department of Education, and technology coach. As the Educational Technology Manager for Texthelp’s AsiaPac Team, he helps to make sure that the over half a million users of Texthelp products across the region get the most out of this technology.

Fiona is a new member of the AsiaPac Texthelp team, formerly an Assistant Principal and Assistive Technology Advisor for the New South Wales Department of Education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and has worked across primary and secondary settings in NSW and Victoria for more than 30 years. Over that time, Fiona has been an avid user of technology to support the teaching and learning needs of the diverse range of students in her classroom. Extending that role further by guiding and supporting other educators embarking on their own technology adventures.

Alongside our Texthelpers will be the EdTechTeam. They work to help schools meet their highest goals. Known for providing educators with inspiring professional development experiences and empowering hands-on activities, the team has over a decade of success supporting larger change initiatives and cultural transformations. Founded and run by educators, EdTechTeam is serving schools around the world with a truly global perspective on what it means to prepare students for their future.

Kimberley has teaching and leadership experience across Primary, Secondary, Higher Ed, as well as teaching students with additional needs. She worked as an eLearning and Learning and Teaching Advisor for several years. Kimberley was the first female in Australia to be both a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Certified Trainer and was awarded the Department of Education’s ‘Most Outstanding Graduate Teacher’ early in her career. She designs featured workshops and keynote presentations for conferences around the globe, specialising in assisting leaders and educators to make the most of technology for efficiencies and transformation of practice.
